The Lily Auchincloss Foundation wanted a simple site based on the 2012 WordPress theme. The site needed to offer an easy way to display all the information that they had about applying for grants as well as details of previous grants. The client wanted to be able to easily update the site themselves.
As well as the information the site needed to display some of the fantastic photography that the foundation has access to.
We set up WordPress with the 2012 on a test site for the client and worked closely with them to ensure that they were happy. We made many changes to the theme to ensure that it was in keeping with the Foundation’s style. We set up custom post types where possible to allow simple adding and editing features for various elements.
- We used the built in 2012 features to display a large background photograph that the foundation liked and could edit when needed
- A gallery of photographs of Lily Auchincloss was added
- Custom post types were created for grants, allowing them to be displayed by year and type to make the large quantity of data easy to read
